Build confidence, focus, and strategic thinking through chess!
Our Chess Program is designed for children to learn chess step by step in a fun and structured environment. Students develop not only chess skills, but also concentration, patience, problem-solving, decision-making, and logical thinking.
Program Structure
- 1 hour per class
- 8 classes per level

Each level follows a structured learning pathway, allowing students to build skills progressively and gain confidence through guided practice and game play.
Chess Foundations
For students who are new to chess or have very limited experience.
Students will learn how the pieces work, understand the chessboard, recognize basic threats and opportunities, and begin playing complete games with confidence.
Topics may include:
- Piece movement and value
- Check, checkmate, and basic game rules
- Capturing and protecting pieces
- Simple attacking and defending strategies
- Introduction to opening principles
- Guided practice and complete chess games
Chess Strategy
For students who already know how the chess pieces move and understand the basic rules.
This level helps students move beyond simply knowing the rules and begin thinking strategically during a complete game.
Topics may include:
- Opening principles
- Tactical patterns and combinations
- Piece development and positioning
- Attacking and defensive strategies
- Planning several moves ahead
- Checkmate patterns
- Game analysis and coached match play
Students will regularly practice through real games, puzzles, and instructor-guided challenges to apply what they learn.
